cnbc's mandy drury is here with the market rundown. >> reporter: good morning.just take a look at the nasdaq in particular. it's getting closer and closer to its all-time intraday high of 5,132. the all-time closing high is a little lower than that for the nasdaq, it's 5,106. but one of the good things we got this morning was may retail sales. even though they were roughly in line with expectations, the good thing is it at least seems the consumer was a little bit more robust than we were back in april and auto sales were especially strong. what it does suggest is maybe second-quarter gdp numbers could be revised upward as well. as for the retail stocks if you hold any, they have generally outperformed the overall market. at least if you look at the retail eft is up over 3% gain year to date which is bigger than the s&p's gain. despite the fact that you have some of the luxury retailers like michael kors and tiffany not doing so well this year. one concern is that chinese consumers are not buying as much as they used to of luxury goods. the economy is slowing do
