marine travis manion and navy seal brendan looney were best friends who made the ultimate sacrifice forr stories being told in a book called "brothers forever." the book was written by travis's father tom, a retired marine corps colonel and he joins us now. thanks for being here this morning. i know having spoken to you about how difficult this was putting this on paper, how does it feel to finally be able to tell their story and put this out there in the world? >> it's great to be able to get it out there. as you said, we lost travis in 2007. as a father, your worst nightmare. but then to have lost brendan, his good friend and roommate at the naval academy in 2010, and then fast forward. we've got the navy seals that captured and killed osama bin laden and then the president talked about brendan and travis a couple weeks later, about their example of character, service and sacrifice. to be able to write this story and get it out to the broader country was important for me. >> the book obviously focuses on their friendship. how did they come to find one another at the naval academy? how
