maria: yeah.rying to figure out what that recovery in investment banking looks like. we've been talking to a number of people this morning about that. kenny, it's also about the economic backdrop. we're waiting on the producer price index this morning for the month of december. and we know that inflation is off of the peak but what's your take and what are your expectations on where we are with producer inflation. >> listen, the producer price index, it's a very important macroeconomic data point. it's going to be very important today. it speaks to what he producers are paying for raw materials to start manufacturer and it's a sister to cpi. how the ppi goes is how you the cpi goes. it's still relatively high compared to where they want to b i sus be expect that the number -- a suspect the number's going to come in where they have it. last week they tried to talk us down on cpi. they thought it wou would be we. i think they're trying to talk it until it's going to be weaker but i don't suspect it'
