supervisor avalos: thank you, madam clerk. supervisor mar: we have heard a number of presentations on very large cpmc projects on cathedral hill. a number of community organizations, as a community, have come together to be involved in the process to make sure that the community benefits from large developments like this one. but, many in the community feel that there has been a lack of transparency and adequate communication between the city and the california pacific medical center around the project. i have called the hearing at different times within land use. i also hope that there can be as broad a hearing as we can have before the full board of supervisors on our december 14 meeting. therefore, i have called that. i would like to emphasize that this was brought up not to harm the conversation, the but to make it more transparent so that communities can have a say. whether it is transportation issues, affordable housing, or even the impact on communities around the development. that is my urging before the committee as a whole. thank y
