marc siegel.quare stormed by anti-vaxxers protesting this past weekend a lot of confusion about the booster shots. what do people need to know? what do you say? >> i think the booster shots are confusing because the doctor in chief got up there and started pontificating on everybody getting them. we have to start with the science. the science out of israel shows the biontech pfizer vaccine wears off after four months. after six months, it decrease, it actually doesn't protect you as well even severe illness but also mild illness. that is israel. the united kingdom data showed the same thing. here in the united states there is definitely some indication that it wears off against severe illness after several months but the biggest argument right now is for those over 60. we don't know why the fda advisory committee said 65. that is arbitrary, liz. it should have been 60. we need to do what israel and uk have done. start giving boosters to everybody 60 and over and again it is because the pfizer bion

marc siegel joins us. 2574 cases, is that a cause for concern? stuart, it is certainly a cause to be keeping a eye on this. but a big study from israel from noam who i will interview tomorrow actually, he pointed out 42 days after the shot, there is 3% shot of getting that heart inflammation, but 18% chance over the same period if you have covid. if you have covid you get a much more severe case than you get it from the vaccine. about one to five out of 100,000 people. usually around 25 or younger. it is not something to ignore but you got to ask yourself, what's more risky, the vaccine or covid? if you got covid you also have risks of other things like blood clots, all kinds of complications we've been talking about for a year. for me, in the vast majority of cases i go for the vaccine. it is something to be aware of. stuart: the cdc says unvaccinated people should not travel over the labor day weekend. what do you say to that? >> i wonder who they are talking to. you think anybody will listen to that? i think the cdc should focus on things peop
