reena, tahman. >> marci gonzalez, thank you. joan rivers' death begins, let's turn to managing editor of abc news medical unit dan childs. >> dan, thank you for coming in. there are so many rumors out there about rivers' death. what do we know for sure? >> there are few things we do know. what we do know is that joan rivers was at an out patient clinic having some kind of procedure done. we then know the dispatch said she was undergoing cardiac arrest and taken to mount sinai. where she was in critical condition for a while. put on life support. after that she was transferred to a private room. and after that she died. now obviously that leaves a lot of gaps in the middle. in terms of what goes in those gaps well we can only speculate. >> what do you think, what could have happened to rivers during the relatively routine procedure a week ago? >> one thing we know a clinic that specialized in endoscopy. now there are certain procedures involving endoscopy where you actually sedate the patient, and you put them under some sort of
