marci gonzalez, abc news, new york. tisha: now to the mysterious us of a high school student in durham. she was found unresponsive in her bedroom. police have not ruled the case a homicide but say her death is suspicious. stephanie lopez now in durham. stephanie: we spoke to her friends and all of them said she was a kind, sweet, and giving girl. told us how talented and lovable the 18-year-old was and that they are shocked she is gone. her friend alex gonzalez, no relation, says he went to middle and high school with her and she was always volunteering even though she took college courses in high school and worked a job to how support her mom and younger twin sisters. her principal said she was a leader in a group called students in action and tutored fifth-graders. he says she was one of the most service oriented, caring, and driven students he has had. we reached out to the durham police department for updates on her case. they told us they have no new information at this time. stephanie lopez, abc 11 eyewitness news
