been a quiet little noticed corner of the shore here in the back bay area between atlantic city and margate known as ventnor heights and that first call almost 12 hours ago but investigators with these bright all night construction lights made it look like daylight all night. they are counting number of shots fired and you can bet there were plenty talking to the neighbors out here. they said and in addition to seeing this big bullet blast threw up stairs windows that came according to neighbors during first round of gunfire as first cops showed up for what was a domestic call. they backed off calling in reenforcement including swat team made up from police all over atlantic county and as swat team rolled up that is when fire fido kurd. >> i was watching tv laying in the living room. then i heard gunshots. i came out. cops started pouring n block everything off. i hung outside for about a half an hour and we heard another five gunshots and right have after the five gunshots, they just went off. it was maybe 12 to 15 shots in a row. >> reporter: in charge of the case now new jersey attorney

calling in, extra help from all of the local departments here at the shore, ventnor sits between margate and atlantic city and this section of ventnor as we look through this corner house where you can see at least one big bullet blast through an upstairs window, they have a swat team from the atlantic county prosecutor's office as well here and that is why the state attorney general's office has been called in for this all night, continuing non-stop so far investigation because local police cannot investigate the local police. they will get an outside investigative team in here. look at the video we shot last night, so many dozens of officers here both in swat gear, regular uniforms, on patrol, normally a quiet time, things settled down in october, here at the shore outside of any bad weather, but what a crazy, early, fall it has been here at the shore with a couple of big shoot-outs for local police departments surrounding the atlantic city area. this is latest. neighbors could not believe what they were seeing and hearing right around dinner time. >> i was watching, tv laying in the l

looking outside on our live neighborhood network, this is down the shore, beach patrol headquarters in margate. we are at a great day at the beach. not all that wind toy day. temperatures have have been in the 60's and near 70s, waves are rolling in, great day to take a nice little stroll along the surf at the shore. storm scan three is clear but we have this front approaching from the west. we have been talking about this all week because out ahead have of it we are getting a surge in temperatures and we are back to 07 today and back to 72 tomorrow but we will see showers coming through a couple spots tomorrow afternoon and then feel noticeable drop in temperature, heading in to friday and saturday. lets talk about our temperature averaging, today our average high in philadelphia is 68 degrees. by november 12th, the average high is only 58 degrees, and by december 12th the average high is 46 degrees. so, when we're talking about chilly with the temperature of 65 degrees take that with a big giant grain of salt because by december we will be excited to be in the 40's and that is coming up quic
