and voters give the economy some of the best ratings in nearly two decades and joining us now maria barton miami. watched your interview with roger goodell. >> thank you. martha: talk to us about the economy. >> it's interesting, martha that you have this split screen going on. on the one hand you have the president signing usmc a bringing manufacturing back to america from across the world, certainly from china with a phase one china deal which is a positive for the economy here. you have got a lot of progress being made in terms of all of these, schmidt on the one side of this green and on the other side of the screen you have these unhappy faces that the president may be acquitted wednesday and unhappy faces that the senate voted no poor witnesses and i think the average person is saying what does this mean for me. i spoke with a driver in miami and he said for the first time in my life my wife and i were able to buy a home and they could not be happier so you have all this progress on the economy and that is what's resonating with the american people and that's why don't think you real
