and the great and glorious president and ceo of voto latino, maria teresa kumar.amir, tell us what's going on in the white house. my sense is that it's not a happy place right now. how unhappy is it and what's about to happen next? >> reporter: well, john, a short time ago, the white house press secretary insisted that the president was not unhappy with the aftermath of saturday night's rally in tulsa. but there's a lot of reporting to the contrary. this was, as you said, this was meant to be a campaign reset, a reboot, and was supposed to be a defiant show of force. let's remember, the president and his advisers ignored the warnings of health experts, both from the white house's own task force to state officials in oklahoma who warned against having such an event without social distancing, most people not in masks, indoors, at this rally. they went ahead anyway, believing they could draw a big crowd. believing there could be another sign that his ability to generate enthusiasm. and they wanted to compare the fact that he's out there on the road, in front of thous

it will be released july 7th and maria teresa kumar, president and ceo.e on this judge's ruling. this is what the judge ruled. the matter is now in the hands of i.c.e. which had 124 children in texas and in pennsylvania as of june 8th. it only applies to children it does not compel i.c.e. to release parents. is that enough? >> well, first of all, it is an important ruling because we continue to see this administration operating with zero principled leadership, with maximum cruelty and maximum corruption and so what the judge is saying is not only do you have to release these children, you have to release them by a specific date in just a couple of weeks. that is important because we have been fighting with this administration to release separated families and keep them together. as you know, joy, i have been on your show so many times, we are saying and the judiciary committee has already weighed in with i.c.e. that the kids must be released with their parents. now, the order does allow to be released to the family member or a guardian or with their paren
