and earlier today, the baltimore states attorney marilyn mosley filing six charges almost as soon asreport that ruled the death a homicide. how does a medical examiner conclude that freddie gray's death was a homicide. physician and certified forensic pathologist dr. michael baden joins us. good evening sir. >> good evening, greta. >> you have not seen the autopsy report i take it, right? >> it hasn't been released yet. >> i know that based on what you are hearing and trying to peace this together like the rest of us, what are your thoughts about what happened? i think from a forensic pathology point of view the statement was the medical examiner determined the manner of death to be homicide. that means the medical examiner concluded it wasn't an accident it wasn't suicide. it wasn't from any preexisting natural disease see how that fracture is made. i think she indicated that that happened in the van. but that's very hard to tell just from the autopsy. there has to be a lot of other information and what may have happened is that there -- because it's very unusual to get a fractured
