this system has been very much about marin county north. these are rough numbers because they're continuing to update as we speak but mount tam, over 5 inches of rain. fairfax, that's up on the way out. santa cruz mountains over 4 inches of rain. look at san jose. that's .12 of an inch. santa cruz mountains has four inches and over the hill they have less than quarter of an inch. that's the rain shadow and the nature of the warm sort of el nino storms. the big impacts, the heavy rain totals as this moisture streams in tonight and tomorrow morning will continue to be mountains of marin county, mountains of santa cruz, boulder creek. right now we're seeing a little bit of a break. been raining up there for a long time. they're getting breaks up there. heaviest rain now moving down through san jose and those showers, look at the aerial distribution. it's all over the place. from morgan hill up and the yellow areas, pretty aggressive. .2 an inch per hour. doesn't sound like a lot but it is. pretty aggressive rainfall rate. you may see an inch a
