you've got rain falling in the marin headlands.showers continue tonight on and off and then, boy, tomorrow morning it is going to get real wet around here. we have got heavy rain in the forecast and that has prompted a national weather service for the hours of about 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. tomorrow to issue an urban and small stream flood advisory. not for the rivers, not so much for the big rivers and big creeks but for the small creeks and for commuters concerned about maybe some slow roadways tomorrow. standing water in many locations as we get an inch to 2 inches of rain in a very short amount of time. this system tomorrow hits as i mentioned this last night, hits right on the morning commute. tomorrow morning the same time and even a little earlier but more rain than we saw this morning. a wind advisory as well for the morning hours. that impacts the bay area bridges. so tomorrow will be one of those days where the rain really comes. the wind really comes. and out along the coast, the coastal hills will get real wet. the liftin

there is still more action developing to the south and to the west and, in fact, just to the marin headlands looks like we have more rainfall to talk about, at least increasing in coverage and rainfall rates. forecast models showing more rainfall after the 4:00/5:00 hour. i will give you the san francisco view. nothing too extreme here, but smil some some light to moderate showerses and in fact, moderate showers moving into san francisco, crossing the bay and moving tost east bay. concord, alamo and danville. nothing too extreme here, but still enough to wet the roadways and there, once again, is the live doppler sweep showing you the current pattern. we'll show you the perspective over the entire bay area. not a lot to show you in the south bay, but that will be changing over the next few hours. as far as the forecast with the rainfall this evening, i have more with our updated forecast model and the change in the overall weather pattern expected for tomorrow. that is coming up in a few minutes. >> thank you, mark. >>> why this could be a crucial week form balancing the state budget? >>> go

a little bit hazy, if you look at the marin headlands. that is because we have conditions. to speak of right now. we have a little bit of high cloud cover but sunshine. variable high cloud cover will increase as the day progresses. right now we are looking few high clouds overhead but most of that is thin and this a little bit of rain to the north of us. the rain will continue to produce more than an inch of rain, especially for the north bay areas, but will look for less than that as it moves over the area the storm system producing that. let's put that in motion for you to see. there is even a little bit of precipitation but for us we're seeing the variable high cloud cover. 51 in mountain view. 52 degrees in antioch. our temperatures also come up from the 40s into the mid to upper 40s in napa and at sonoma county airport. here is what we're forecasting for today. increasing cloudiness, you'll notice a very mild day, 40s, 50s and 60s. the rain will start to move in later this evening and overnight tonight, the heaviest rain in the north bay. still early tomorrow morning f
