that marine layer it's defined along the coast. it's working its way up past mendocino county towards that oregon california border there. and it will intensify. it will deepen later on tonight. but this morning we're actually picking up a little bit of condensation in the form of some drizzle due to the deep marine layer. it's roughly about 1100 feet at this early hour. it backs off slightly at lunch hour, but it hangs tight to colma and daly city. you'll see some clearing, but pescadero, half moon bay, pacifica you will have some partly cloudy skies there. otherwise ample sunshine in our inland areas. this time tomorrow we will have overcast skies all the way inland. today's temperatures 65. in pacifica, 78 degrees in hayward, 84 in napa and 93 degrees are outside number. low 90s santa clara valley cooler and a bit breezy on your friday and then some morning drizzle on saturday due to the deep marine layer. otherwise dave, we're talking about barbecuing over the holiday weekend. >> that sounds good to me. okay roberta, time now.

looking at the satellite radar composite image, we didn't have a well formed marine layer marine layer this morning, so there was a lot of sunshine early in the day, which brought us an earlier warm up than we expected. and here's a look at conditions right now. breezy, especially at the coast. but the breezes aren't providing any cooling except at the coast right now. you can see most locations around the bay area are several degrees warmer than they were at this time yesterday. still slightly below average, but look at how warm it is right now. 88 degrees at concord, 90 at fairfield, 89 at santa rosa, 85 sonoma and right around the bay shoreline. we have temperatures in the low to mid 70s. so tonight we can expect overnight low temperatures, mainly in the mid to upper seconds. that's a cool to mild range. and tomorrow low 60s at the coast, mid 70s around the bay and up to about 90 in the warmest inland spots. i'll have the seven but do they really? do they see that crick in your neck? that ache in your heart? will they see that funny little thing that wasn't there last year? a new bo
