we are out on the cape looking for sharks with the marine division.e spot abundant marine life including compaq wheels. it looks like a harp one. we spotted -- humpback whales. these buoys will monitor acoustic activity of tact great white sharks. >> we've known that the population of gray seals has made a huge comeback in recent years. every expert point to that is a magnet of a great white trucks. >> this is an area where they have attacked a lot of sharks. they are like stealth fighters, they will work very close to the ground and to the shore. this washed up on shore. experts say that this is possibly the work of a great white shark. they are not scaring people off they are actually an enticing beachgoers. >> even t-shirts. >> people in general love to see sharks in the idea of sharks it is fascinating to people. >> one marine biologists say that one no reported attack has been in these waters since 1936. however, there is concern with the proximity of the gray said i sea andl.. and the beach goers. >> take a look only one victory away from clinch

i showed up in a room over at the marine memorial, and he had a big chart laid out and had a bunch of his friends sitting there and said, you are all going to be volunteers. isn't this great? then he proceeded to tell me about a wonderful idea that one of our honor read cochairs that, former secretary of state george shultz. he said since we have all these military folks in san francisco, why don't we use the opportunity to do some training to better prepare ourselves for disaster response, so we took that mission very seriously. we talked about having a tabletop exercise in 2010. but if you know anything but tabletop exercise, and i think a lot of you people do, the back room planning is just an incredible process. hours and hours and hours are put in for every hour of the table top exercise. but what we did decide to do in 2010 is during fleet week, on uss macon island, we held a senior leadership program for disca and related a briefing on steroids. so we set the foundation for going forward for future fleet weeks, in which we have a common understanding of what the program means.
