getting ready to honor the late marion barry. tonight the commission is taking all your ideas on how best to do that. what they might be looking for. it has been a year since the former mayor and councilman marion barry passed away. this past march he would have turned 79 years old. wants to heartee from you. what are some good ways to honor his legacy? we posted this on facebook and twitter and we got quite the response here, well over 100 people responded. let me show you what some of you said. the first person said, a street name. a lot of people suggested that. a school was another suggestion. someone said, i would like to see a park, maybe in the ward eight area. an outreach program for ex-convicts. another thing that was also talked about online on our facebook page was the mistakes that marion barry made. somebody posted, judge not, lest you be judged. also a bit of side conversation. listen to one of the most popular suggestions. >> we think there ought to be some public thing, something that has to do with education. eve
