ktvu marissa harrington is live right there. >> reporter: good morning. we have not had a big truck come by. you never know. what we are seeing is that the rain has died down. we are seeing petals and things like that and traffic is moving steadily along the highway. the rain started falling pretty hard at around 6 am. here is some video we are in marin county. the video shows the cars, traveling, rain falling steadily, causing small puddling. here is how the rain is impacting the bay area. this is a video from windsor, sonoma county. there have been showers there throughout the morning. people in the area will wake up to wet roads. be prepared for slick roads and leave space between you and the car in front of you. more rain is coming down. there is also a crash on highway 101 north of the boulevard after 1 am. there was a lot of heavy rain during that time. the driver is definitely staying out there. this is the first rain that we have seen in a long time. i can tell you that this is my first time even wearing my ktvu rain jacket. i am breaking it in. y
