mark has sputtered. i don't see the connection in terms of timing there. but to scott's point, look, you have dividend increases. not withstanding what jim cramer said, i see a lot of companies guiding a lot higher than expectations so maybe they're crossing their fingers, but still, they're guiding higher from a fundamental point of view, the profit picture looks darn good. eventually, that's what wins out. this china thing, i agree with you, they'll figure it out, but i also agree it's probably going to take six months >> you find me another time where apple has a good earnings report, we're talking positively about what the company is doing, fundamentally, the cash return, and the nasdaq is doing nothing today. the dow is up a quarter of a percent at best. getting absolutely no broad lift not even all the fang stocks are up facebook may be up and another one is up slightly, but you're not getting a broad follow-through >> i don't think this is new in terms of apple being delinked from the market. i think it's happened for a while. we had a period of underperformance from apple, and while the market was booming i don't think that's something
