mark cuban thinks it is going to happen. financial guru at derek kinney is worried about it and not just for the students. derek, welcome to the program. first of all, if this bubble -- >> thank you, sir. >> -- pops, what does that mean? what happens? >> there's a couple of key factors of the economy. first of all, let me talk about what it means to parents and students. first of all, most americans simply cannot afford to pay cash for their kids' college education. as i talk to parents all around the country, the number one concern they share with me is, i want my son or daughter to go to the college of their choice and have all the opportunities, perhaps, i didn't have. what they're faced with, though, is how to pay for that. do i pay for it based on what i can afford or what i can borrow? sadly, most parents choose the loan which saddles those students with debt, many of which cannot dig themselves out for many years after graduation. it affects their credit score, they can't buy cars, houses. bottom line, they've got a g
