mark meadows said something in a recent interview that donald trump is doing to be reinstated as president wanted to join you to talk about really a president that is fully engaged, highly focused and remaining on task. >> well, we met with some of our cabinet members tonight. we actually had a followup member meeting with some of our cabinet members. >> what cabinet is he talking about? i mean, what world is he living in now and how dangerous is this? >> he's absolutely fueling the whole complete conspiracy theory that somehow donald trump can be reinstated by talking about president, not ex president, talking about a cabinet meeting and he's fueling those fires and let's be clear, mark meadows is a smart guy. >> yes. >> and it's everything that donald trump seems to get dumber. either that or he feels compelled to just kiss up to that audience of one in a performative way on news mags but he's absolutely fueling these fires and it's just, you know, it is somebody who has given rid of his senses and soul out of service to this cult of personality. >> how about mark johnson. good to see yo

multiple times, she was brought down by mark meadows the chief of staff to return to the office to try again to persuade her father to make a stronger statement no, no, just a little stronger, to call off the dogs essentially. i take your point though and we are really on guard for this and in the reporting. i take your point that it's a very effective and calm her for her father at least as the storm was growing and was obvious to so many. >> it seemed they were kind of mia during those weeks. and then of course, ivanka's one statement herself on her twitter feed was calling the american patriots and telling them to go home, which of course she deleted. let me ask you, i think that one of the things you've done so effectively which has been so opaque, what is your sense of getting the national guard troops to the capitol hill. is there any evidence that he was resisting it on january 6th? talk a little bit about that because i think that you drove minute by minute. what was going on, talk about that role on january 6th. >> that is an important question. reporting shows that it played

the president's chief of staff mark meadows call it in the secretary of defense, the secretary of thearmy to denounce them for considering putting my name on a promotion list. do you know how far down in the weeds that is? it's just crazy stuff. and then ultimately like i said earlier, drop my paperwork on elastic, who was a wednesday. within two days i had my retirement orders. people don't understand how improbable that is in the military. it is a year-long process. it takes six months to get your orders. they turned my orders in two days. on that that day, same day they pre-positioned this list that event held up for months. as to those becoming out in april. they didn't release it until july and held it for months and the same day my retirement was approved, they were happy to put the list forwarded. so everything really kind of justified that i wouldn't be able to kind of continue to serve. and my twin brother, you know, it's his story to tell. i do want to really go too far into it but he continues to suffer some of the same stigma associated with our proper actions to this day.
