anniversary of ukraine war and related expectations joining me live in studios retired admiral mark montgomerythank you for having me, mike. mike: we are heading at one-year mark, this is a look at the map of ukraine and the region. the blue areas are where the ukrainians are launching counteroffensives. your view of the war at this stage, sir? >> well, mike, it has been -- it appears static but it really anything but that. this is a really critical time. russia is -- is mass -- mobilized heavily. it's massing up to four divisions. it's beginning to look, you know, either for diversion area, actual purposes, putting forces in belarus, for them a critical time. mike: that's up here. a lot of focus obviously here in the east, right, sir? >> that's right, exactly. for ukraine this is a time to reinforce themselves, get units up to full strength, make sure they have the right artillery and logistics in place and make sure russia can't gain initiative or leverage. mike: show the next scene. so focus here on the east and bakhmut, luhanst and mariupol. >> big fighting in the bakhmut area and the idea
