ktvu meteorologist mark tamayo is here with all of the details. mark? >> ken that, storm has must have had out to the east of the bay area. as a result the rainfall rates have been decreasing over the passed few hours. of course the most intense activity moved in early to mid- afternoon. showing you right now as you can see the rainfall totals. in fact we bumped up the numbers since the earlier newscast at 6:00 this evening. napa is fairly close to right around an inch. and the valley over an inch ofrain. oakland a half an inch. impressive numbers for all of the rest. you can see the bulk of the action heading out to the north and the east. on live stormtracker 2 you can see a bit of activity am mainly outside of livermoore approaching tracy and watching some cells. one cell at least approaching the north bay coastline closing in there. as far as tonight we will hold on to the possibility of a few lingering rain showers. coming up though take a look at the rain forecast model high lating the rainfall potential for tomorrow. also we do have another storm

for that we turn to ktvu meteorologist mark tamayo, who joins us live with the rain totals and more on tonight's thunderstorms. >> that is right, maureen. it has been very productive over the past flee days and in the short-term in the past three to four hours, impressive thunderstorms across the bay area. we took a look at radar, between 6:00 and 8:00 you can see the yellows and reds moving across the bay, producing heavy rain and roadway flooding with that system moving out, actually moving farely rapidly, around 25-35 miles per hour. as far as rainfall totals over the past three days you can see santa rosa, 2" and marin county, nearly 4". san francisco just over 2" and in the santa cruz mountains, nearly 8" of rain. right now on live stormtracker 2 you can see the activity in north bay towards sonoma county, especially healdsburg and san josi as well. so still rainshowers in the forecast for tonight and the possibility of some thunderstorms once again for tomorrow. i will have more on that coming up in just a little bit. >>> pge says its repair crews are scattered across the bay are

we begin the storm coverage with mark tamayo live in the weather center. mark? >> reporter: heather, basically in between storm systems. still some rain showers out there but the coverage is on the increase. that trend will continue over the next 3-6 hours. you can see on live stormtracker 2 up in the north bay santa rosa reporting light to moderate rainfall. down towards the south bay for the bay and the rainfall pretty much a constant over the past 24 hours. this will continue to be on the increase at least for tonight. there you can pick out the storm developing offshore in the pacific. a series of storms. as far as rainfall with the next system can you see about three-quarters of an inch to three inches. once again, the heaviest cells targeting the coastal hills. the timeframe with the heavy rain downpours will be from tomorrow morning from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and winds gusting to 35 miles per hour. more rainfall in the five day forecast. timing of more storms in the pacific coming up in just a little bit. >> well, there are some real concerns that come with a
