our meteorologist mark tamayo is in the weather center. the rain here is about to intensify. >> that's right, we do have more rain bands just offshore that will be moving offshore as scheduled and the forecast models we've been talking about. here you can't pick up the activity and the coverage. santa rosa, the airport reporting light rain. some activity in parts of the north bay closer to petaluma and nevado. i'll shift the maps to the south. looks like a little bit of heavier cell right across the richmond area. moving into the bay reports of wet roadways. the bay bridge as well, we just showed you the emeryville camera and that's a rain band not too far away. i'm going to go ahead and back the view up in the pacific. we have more widespread rainfall showing up out in the pacific. that will be approaching our coastline into early tomorrow morning. coming up i'll let you know when the heaviest rainfall will get here. >>> and now we go to ken pritchett who's at an orchard where they've been experiencing damage. >> reporter: you can see dar

meteorologist mark tamayo is hetalk to us about the weather. >>> the fog will be making a comeback. any major heat right now the maps on live stormtracker 2, we do have some cloudy skies. winds are shifting out of the northwest to 20 miles per hour. here is a look at the overall weather story. we have mostly clear skies and some fog developing company site tomorrow. we will begin to warm things up for the second half of the weekend. this was the case earlier today with some fog concentrated close to santa cruzand watsonville. this will not bring us any rainfall but it will continue a cooling trend. most areas the same as today or it 3-6 degrees cooler. then we began to warm things up on sunday. an increase in the fog rapid the especially by late two nights. fog could be returning here. tomorrow morning it could be a factor in san francisco, pacifica, half moon bay. a cool onshore breeze and that is all reflected in tomorrow's forecast. low to mid 50s out there with some patchy fog. the warmest locations tomorrow barely make it into the low 80s with wind speeds around 10-20 miles per

ktvu meteorologist mark tamayo joins us now. it's pretty warm outside right now, hu >> that is right halpern after a 10-20-degree warm up. a look at current numbers. you can see the range on this map from 71 in san francisco up to 93 degrees, we're talking about 90 ns santa rosa, mountain view, 8 1 and san josi right now about 85 degrees. forecast in the short-term is this. a benefit a breeze. low 60, by 8:00, clear and mild. 5 to right around 72 degrees and by 10:00, still mostly clear skies. we could have a patch or two of fog develop coastside and patches into the bay. overnight lows, warmex locations in the 50s for concord, fairfield and the antioch area. here is our forecast models showing you some of the pasty fog as we head into early monday morning, but look at what happens as we put this into motion at afternoon hours. the clouds clear out and we have another round of warm temperatures to talk about for tomorrow. coming up, the areas into the mid-90s for monday afternoon and i will highlight the hottest day of the workw
