let's check in with our meteorologist mark tamayo to find out about today's weather and rest of the week. >> that is right, plenty of sunshine out. there you may have noticed high clouds moving into the bay area by late-afternoon. in fact, you can see right now on live stormtracker 2 rain showers moving into northern california. heir is a wider perspective and you can see the bay area still dry, but as we zoom in, the overnight hours up in the north bay, primarily areas north of sonoma county, we could be tracking some spotty drizzle to start out your monday morning. the look at the satellite and radar, you can see the weak system moving into the northern parts of the state. i should say it's fairly strong along the california-oregon border. for us, spotty drizzle and chance of sprinkles. overnight low back down to the upper 30s to 40s. coming up we'll look at the updated forecast model and be talking about another warming trend and break down the timing of that in the five-day forecast. >>> oakland a's fans were at the oakland arena to see their favorite players up-close at the annual f

we'll have the forecast for tomorrow's game day and meteorologist mark tamayo tells us about the nextm and how much rain we should expect. . >>> well, storm no. 2 2 has moved out of town, but we have another one developing offshore. a benefit a break. looking out towards san francisco bay and cloud cover moving through part of the region. as you can see through live stormtracker 2, by this time tomorrow we'll have heavy rain sneaking back into the bay area. as far as rainfall totals over the past 24 hours and, in fact, this was at radar 24 hours ago. look at all the yellows and reds across the region. the amounts pretty impressive. fairfield about 1.5", san josi at .66" and ben loweman, over the past two days picking up nearly 7" in the santa cruz mountains. first thing tomorrow morning, rainfall redevelops. nothing major, but still pers of rain out there and temperatures mainly in the upper 30s to 40s. oakland starting out sunday around 43 and san josi at 42. here is the weather system developing offshore. all the cloud cover in advance of it and along this frontal band, this will be

[ sirens ] >>> a ktvu camera was right there when a laundry truck went in flames in menlo park. that was just after 8:00 a.m. our crew was there when the truck full of towels pulled to the shoulder of the road with flames and smoke pouring out. no one was hurt. it's not known what's started the fire. >>> several trucks caught on fire at a fed-ex facility in petaluma. firefighters spent about 15 minutes putting out the flames. firefighters put the flames out. there were no injuries and no packages were burned. >>> also overnight a christmas tree was set on fire after it was left at the curb for pickup. our crew got video of the tree on fire just before midnight at bay and mission streets in san francisco. a man walking by kicked the burning tree away from his scooter which appears to have suffered some damage. firefighters arrived on the sc
