ktvu's mark tamayo is here with the current temperatures. >> yeah. parts of the bay area cooled off because of the fog showing up coast side and around the bay, low clouds will continue to be a big factor over night. right now, live storm tracker 2, clouds hugging the coast line and the key here, we have a breeze pushing the clouds back into the bay and that will be the route the oclouds take -- route the clouds take over night. it will feel like summer tomorrow morning. temperatures peaked, sant arosa -- santa rosa, 80s. san francisco 70s, san jose 90s. today, look at san francisco, down 19 degrees. still warm in livermore, 86 degrees this afternoon. here is a look that current numbers. holding on to lower 80s. san francisco 59 and san jose in the mid-70s. the fog is back and there saweather system -- there is a weather system out here. with that some over cast skies first thing monday morning and drizzle, we could have wet roadways in the morning. san francisco 57. san jose in the mid-50s. coming up, the two days we could we tracking rain showers a

mark tamayo is here with more details. but first, we start with alex. >> reporter: well, pediatricment is closed here because of this mudslide that has come across the roadway here. they just brought in a crane a short time ago to try to clear away some of this debris that came down the hillside >> it's also possible there is a home up this hill to the right that could be on unstable ground right now. this slide, just one of many problems that we saw across the bay area >>> area. >> reporter: the driver of this struck rolled through some heavy area right now. >> it was like a river. the water was high as maybe-- maybe the car door. >> reporter: the storm also took down a pair of large trees along shepherd canyon road in the oakland hills. one tree came to rest on top of the house but the place was not damaged and no one was hurt. there were several fallen trees in that aim sarah that knocked out power to dozens of people. along with lots of rain, these storms also brought lightning. according to the lightning detection net

mark tamayo says the rain is mostly gone t was heavy. our cameras were out this morning and caught this downpour. there was similar weather in the north bay and south bay. there are flight delays up to an hour at sfo for some arrivals due to the weather. mark will join us in 15 minutes for details on the forecast. the highway patrol is advising drivers to slow down and be careful on the rain-slicked roadways. this crash involving a u.p.s. big rig and honda happened around 2:00 this morning on 880 at washington avenue. there were no serious injuries. another crash, a head-on collision, in antioch last night sent five people to the hospital. it happened at 10th and l street. no word on the victims' conditions. >>> police hope surveillance video will help them catch a gunman who opened fire in east oakland. >> the shooting happened around 7:00 last night. a man wearing a black hoody walks up to the car near interstate 580. he fired at least seven shots and then runs away. you can see on the surveillance video. the driver of the tan sedan wa

channel 2 meteorologist mark tamayo joins us next with when we can next expect a cooldown. ñsxóxgñ .all that rain we had yesterday here in the bay area came in the form of snow in the sierra. this is what it looked like at about 1:00 this afternoon on interstate 80. the road is pretty clear, but there is plenty of snow there on the ground. the fresh stuff came just in time for spring-break skiers and snowboarders. all of this late season snowfall has even prompt merchandise ski resorts to stay open a week or two extra this year. >>> it may not feel like it in the bay area, but march around the country was the hottest in decades. thousands of records are set or even matched and large cros,ed in atlanta, buffalo, chicago, detroit, indianapolis and minneapolis, and several others had their warmest march since records were kept mark tamayo here, not holding our breathe for that in the bay area. >> we're going to improve a little bit if you like the warmth, but you can see right behind me, we still have mostly clear skies b-a bit of the breeze. the winds ramping up pretty much all weekend
