. >> and let's go to mark tamayo in the can, it, vu weather center where he's tracking the two hurricanes. >> the last time we were talking about the landfall and hurricane in hawaii, that was in 1992, and this is a live camera via skype toward maui, looks like a nice, quiet thursday morning and they're getting ready for a hurricane approaching, probably in the form of a tropical storm. right now, just look at the observations in lahain a, with winds gusting at -- with winds gusting and this is the satellite perspective of the first hurricane. the center is 216 miles from the big island of hawaii. we're tracking, too, and this is a wider perspective in the satellite loop. with winds of 80 miles an hour, a category 1 and the stronger one with strengthening hurricane julio, packing winds of 105 miles an hour. here's the forecast track. we don't do this too much, but we have dual forecast tracks for the hurricanes and you will notice that julio will weaken into a tropical storm and move to the north of the islands. the main concern in the short- term, hurricane iselle will be making landfall
