mark: dr.f president trump before he was president, how is he doing? >>, i think pretty well. he has faced the kind of opposition or resistance that it hard to believe any very few american presidents have had to face, only one who clearly face a worse situation was lincoln in 1860. by the time he was in washington. you know half of the union was -- in secession. you have two year long investigation. mueller investigation, all other investigations. it is unprecedented situation, not that there were not things that incoming presidents that could not have been investigated for. but they never had to face those kinds of headwinds. and given all that he has had to face, and overcome, i think his administration is going quite well. there much on the agenda that is still needs attention. and i hope and to that it will be attended to. between now and the election to a second term. mark: i agree. and maybe some of the republicans and at some point the democrats will help, although don't hold your breat

mark: what about his appointment of judges?eeply appreciative of the conservative judges on the court. and i think that the chance of having justice in america is determined by the justice of thede supreme court to fulfill all the vacancies there were over 200 judges that needed to abe fulfilled and they were going very slow until recently and now the pace hasf picked up. but if we could get a category of judges that are right-thinking conservative constitutional judges, this country will benefit 440 or 50 years from the administration of donald trump. mark: his position on life versussu abortion, it has surprised me. it has been very consistent. it has been solid. do you notice this? >> we have been very appreciative of that because in thehe bible killing a baby in the womb of the mother is murder. we don't consider that a woman's right to murder a child. and we evangelicals oppose abortion and feel that anyone that doess that, if they do not repent of their sin will face god in judgment for having to account for that. because

mark: exactly.air toing that is publicly rebuttal on tv without a chance to respond, it is not a binary index. i don't actually thinks it makes sense to do a correlation analysis on the linear input. so that is one thing. and the point has been made that labor markets are strong around the world but i would say they are a lagging indicator. we know that unemployment is one of the last to turn. pmi's still one of the best high frequency inputs. and we have not seen a collapsing global manufacturing. it is something we did not even see and 2008 -- in 2008. anna: that's the thing. that is one of the things that makes people say it does not matter, because it has been going on for so long. erik: it is because of trump, right? datadivide between hard and pmi is what we see with global clients all the time. if you asked how their books are and how is life, it is quite good. if you asked them about the future, they get worried. you see it when you break the pmi down into the present situation and the forwa
