sierra lamar's mother marlene has reached out to mark klaas. he's a father whose own daughter was murdered and abducted. he now runs the klaas foundation to help find kids. the foundation is trying to assess how it might be able to help out the lamar family. he tells us, mark klaas tells us on the phone that marlene lamar is convinced her daughter did not run away. the sheriff's office of santa clara county does not know whether or not she ran away or was abducted. the sergeant tell us us is what makes this case so rare is that there's no evidence pointing one way or the other. sierra was last seen at 6:00 last friday morning at her home in morgan hill. at 7:15, she was supposed to catch a school bus a couple of blocks away and we were at this intersection of palm and dougherty where she is a sophomore. she never made that bus. a search party eventually saw her cell phone, and as you can see on this map, that's in the opposite direction of her school bus stop e less than a mile from her home and incidentally, that location of the cell phone is

and a little new bit of information coming out from the interview we just had with marlene lamar. you know, there's been questions about whether or not sierra lamar was wearing those clothes that had been found in the field last sunday. that was new information released yesterday by the sheriff's office. well, her mother tells us this morning that she believes that sierra lamar was wearing a sharks jersey when she left home because they found a picture of her wearing it on her home computer and they tell us it's not unusual for her before she went to school to take pictures of herself with what she was wearing and leaving it on the home computer and she believes that's the same jersey found sunday in a field not far from her home by search and rescue personnels. they found the jersey in her pink juicy purse along with a pair of pants, both neatly folded. the sheriff department tells us there was some undergarments in there, as well, even though the sheriff's office has found no evidence of foul play. marlene lamar, sierra's mother is concerned for the worst. >> very convicting tha

we will hear from marlene and partly. five people and a home in san francisco will be arraigned on murder charges today. he is facing five the murder charges with special circumstances which means he could face the death penalty if convicted. he was arrested on sunday after five bodies were found in an evil side district home. investigators believe that he knew the victims. officials said the crime scene was so gruesome and complex that it today's just to identify the victims. there's also word that responding officers are now seeking counseling because the scene was so disturbing. he was supposed to be arraigned yesterday but that was a delayed because his brother may be a witness. his brother has not been charged in the killings but was arrested for violating probation. our camera caught this exclusive video of inspectors get evidence near the crime scene in san francisco yesterday. several items were cut into evidence bags including boxes of cigarettes which will be processed for possible dna. >>mark: a the fbi's san f

>> reporter: we talked to steve and marlene lamar at 4 this morning. they reported their daughter's disappearance to the national center for missing exploited children, and they're working closely with the klaas foundation that helps organize volunteer searches. 15-year-old sierra lamar, their daughter, went missing one week ago today. she was leaving for school, supposed to take the bus, she never arrived at the school and she has not been seen since then. now the fbi child abduction team is on the case, they're agents were in the neighborhood near her home yesterday afternoon. so far this is considered a missing persons case, investigators have not found any evidence that sierra lamar was abducted or any signs of foul play. but the sheriff told us this morning that the circumstances of her disappearance are suspicious. so far, investigators have interviewed more than 150 people. they recovered the teen's purse, some of her clothing, her cell phone, and they still just don't know what may have happened to her and where she could be. >> our hearts are
