adam: thanks. the state fire marshal is investigating a fire in alexandria after flames broke out at a home on fowler river road. this is the same home where a 11-month-old boy sustained fatal injuries this past november. the fire chief says no one was home at the time of the fire. wmur' s kristen carosa joins us now with new details on the investigation. kristen: investigators spent a good part of the day inside looking for answers. neighbors say the fire is concerning and complicates what is already going on. crime take surrounds this home on fowler river wrote in alexandria after a fire tore through, damaging the structure beyond repair. >> there was a lot of smoke and i was concerned. kristen: this woman lives across the street and heard emergency flames broke out friday night. >> there were probably a dozen fire trucks and more responders, trucks from volunteers who were showing up. kristen: firefighters battled the blaze from the outside, crews were on scene for hours, the chief believes the fire is suspicious. >> we refused to put anybody into the building so it was an all exterior attack for
