now we speak with marshall trimble about his book, arizona outlaws and long. ♪ ♪ >> i think outlaws represent were fascinated with him because they rebel against authority. there's a glamour to be in attached to be in an outlaw. they don't realize that these guys didn't have really a very good life. they're constantly on the move. there's always somebody pursuing them and later in the later days of history lake but butch cassidy and the sundance kid they had telephones that in the law-enforcement could just call and say is guys just robbed a bank another headed your way. one of the things you never see in the movies or hear about is that it really drove the outlaws out of business. arizona was unique for outlaws and that because the wild country especially along the mexican border you could break the lawn run across the line both there and here and also in the rugged mountains of eastern arizona, the white mountains in the blue river country, that is still wild country to this day. you could could hide in there never be found. so as long order came to places like texas mexico, colorado, color
