marshall zelinger is talking about -- to police. what do we know at this hour? >> reporter: we know there was a shooting here. the closest intersection is 53rd and chambers. the investigation still goes on as there was a shoo street. what i'm hearing from neighbors is there was a shooting between two different groups on the sidewalk. from the stop sign here, this is a neighborhood used to shooting. these are bullet holes from previous shootings according to the neighbors here. police have been on the scene for quite some time, the shooting taking place a couple of hours ago. the neighbors tell me it's between two rival groups. one was in a car and another group was on the sidewalk. a woman comes out of that house with her brother because they heard gunshots and the daughter was shot in the face. she was taken to the hospital and will be okay. that daughter told me about multiple shootings in this neighborhood. >> my neighbors are scared of what they are living in because now they can't take the kids out to play. you could see like, 8:00, 6:00, sometimes at 7:00.
