martha: i think that would be unlikely.e do have insurance claims coming out and they have not shown a big jump in layoffs. that being said, this is a moving target and we will see what happens. joe: one of the things prior to the virus hitting and we have heard a lot is the labor market is tight, companies finding it hard to find workers. they have been saying that for years but nonetheless, if the perception is the labor market is tight and hard to find workers, does that make companies more reluctant to lay off while they wait to see if this is sustained? let's say in a few weeks are in a month, the worst of the virus and are they saying it is a tight labor market and i wish i would have held onto my workers? martha: it is said that it may be a good idea to evaluate headcount. if people are still going and buying coffee in the morning, someone has to serve that so they won't want to let go. romaine: when you start looking ahead and you look at job numbers specifically, are there other numbers to look at that will give us

martha? >> martha: trace gallagher, thank you so much. my next guest is a colleague a d friend of dr. goodrich. doctor, thank you for being here. this gentleman was an extraordinary physician, doctor, surgeon and lead an extraordinary life that changed the lives of so many young people who he was able to surgically separate. i watched an amazing piece today on his lifelong work. your thoughts on his incredible life? >> is just that. he really did lead an incredible life as we have already heard. he served as a marine in vietnam and he came back from medical school and a very long residency, and has been short of really kind of leading everyone in this area which was a very complex surgery, long cases separating conjoined twins. but he has to realize that those were rare, only every couple years. if he was capable of doing that you have to think of how that applies to all the other patients he treated. he wasn't -- in many ways, the true heart and soul of our department and it was really heartbreaking to lose him to the virus, and at such
