martin savidge to you, outside the event, any skirmishes or slashes? what are people saying, reacting to what we've seen happen in chicago, especially last night? >> reporter: well, those who support donald trump believe all of that was orchestrated as a protest against him, in other words, they believe it was a setup, really. we're in a friction period. those inside the rally for donald trump coming out and run smack dap into a small bit boisterous group of protestors. a lot of back and forth. it's not physical but extremely verbal. one group starts shouting something anti-trump and then usually the counter is, usa. so it goes back and forth and continues. we'll monitor that. also, as you point out, we standing by the door where all of those who protested inside come out. and it was almost like a parade. it was just a, you'd see groups of maybe five or ten people being escorted out. a asked how are they dealt with? most folks said actually treated pretty well. a lot of shouting, but the authorities gently guided them to the door and said, there's the

that just talked to our martin savidge explaining why he did that et cetera. any insight from the trump camp? >> reporter: it certainly is possible, if there are protesters here tonight that will crop up. but in terms of speakers that are warned about the crowd. they have been hitting heavily on immigration. heavily against marco rubio. and we should expect to see that from donald trump. i think his main issue is not even here in florida. it is ohio. he switched up his schedule tomorrow to add another event in ohio. it sends a signal he is more worried about john kasich in ohio than he is about marco rubio in florida right now. but i do think he will come out here tonight and try to put the final nail in the coffin of marco rubio's campaign. and ensure he does notch another win here in florida. >> it is interesting when you do look at the ohio polling, right? you have a lot of polls that have trump ahead. you have the fox news poll that has kasich ahead and this new nbc news wall street journal poll out this morning. not surprising they added the extra rally.

let's bring in martin savidge. martin, this is a concession on seaworld's part. why the change now?rspective is as big as the creatures that it's about, orcas, because it is huge. up until now and actually since the '70s the orcas have been the star performance at seaworld. there has also been growing controversy over keeping them captive has been upsetting animal advocacy groups but it was the documentary "blackfish" that brought to the forefront and explained how captivity may be corrupting the minds of these creatures. that's when things began to change. the ticket prices dpan to go up, the attendance began to go down, the stock value went down and seaworld finally got rid of its former ceo and got a new one and the announcement today saying no more killer whales will be bred and we're cutting back on the performance shows and essentially retiring shamu. they are partnering with the humane society which was a long-time adversary. that they're teaming up is almost beyond belief to many. >> what's going to happen to the orcas that are currently in captivity at seaworld parks? >> th

to tennessee, to martin savidge where we know republican delegates are up for grabs there. what are you seeing there in chattanooga? >> well, say hello to look out valley here in tennessee, located on the outskirts of chattanoo chattanooga. relatively small precinct but they've been voting like crazy all day long here. they were waiting to get in around 7:00 a.m. this morning. significant because the polls don't open until 8:00 a.m. even though this is a small precinct, the lines have been consistent all day long. what's remarkable is tennessee also has early voting. and they had a record turnout. 17% above the previous record for early voting. which you would have thought meant the lines of people showing up would be down but no, there have been many, many people wanting to come in which shows the enthusiasm that there is. this is the republican sample ballot. the candidates are up here but look down here. you can actually vote for the delegates that would go to the convention. you're only supposed to vote for 14. the problem is, some people are voting for more than that.

martin savidge in tennessee. we'll start with brian todd in virginia.'re at a polling station near washington d.c. >> reporter: that's right, john and kate. a real injection of voter energy here. this is the dominion trail precinct. a lot of first time primary voters we've talked to here. that's what's driving the morning here. people are checking in and sloeting on a paper ballot. this is a sample ballot, voting behind the partitions. three people here voting. this young man will put his vote in the scanner. you'll see it going on there. once that scanner takes his tabulati tabulation, it will tabulate that and print it out later in the day. then they'll tabulate it and send the results to the central head quarters. analysts are saying throughout the election cycle as virginia goes, often so goes the nation. the front runners, the people who could win this state, clint hillary clinton and donald trump likely to win, they can say i can win in the general election. that's why we're watching virginia so closely. john and kate. >> absolutely. brian todd la

martin savidge in chattanooga, tennessee, officials reporting heavy turnout. martin, what's the latest over there? >> reporter: wolf, in this precinct here in suburban, chattanooga, the word officials are using over and over is remarkable. there were people waiting to vote at 7:00 this morning. the doors didn't open until 8:00 a.m. that set the tone for the remainder of the day. people still waiting in line here. in a precinct you get a rush in the morning, a rush in the evening and nobody during the day. it's been solid voting all day long and officials haven't seen anything like this in years. and add to that early voting in the state they broke all kinds of records. they were up 17% from the last record. so, it all means there is a huge interest, one problem, let's show it to you now. this is the republican ballot. it's a sample. candidates are up here. down here you can vote for the delegates. that is causing all kinds of confusion. you mess that up, your vote is invalid. you are allowed to do it over. the stack of do-overs is that thick. it is complicated

martin savidge spoke to him.. >> reporter: that was one of the things that really struck me. this was a demonstration that tommy says he was conducting there. to run towards the stage was different than anything we had seen before. i wanted to really talk to him and find out what was he thinking? one of the things we began talking about is that this wasn't a spontaneous thing. he had been planning this for a while. >> for some time since back in november i watched donald trump rallies and was terrified. i was like this man is basically having a clan rally and i said this is going to become a problem that these people have a safe haven to be as boldly racist and violent as they want to be. and as time went on i was right. things have gotten more and more violent to the point where his people are attacking protesters using violence and threatening their lives. it was in north carolina that a man attacked another man, a black man and said he might have to kill him. so it's gotten to a point where i said i have watch

so how do we explain what we just saw in martin savidge's piece that democrats are opting for donald. i saw something very different. i understand a number of people crossover at election time like this. i also know people know it was the democrats and president obama that did the auto rescue that kept thousands in jobs and the supply chain that feed into that gm/chevy plant there. so i think people are understandably upset. but i also think that i know that i trust hillary clinton to have a real manufacturing plan. the only person in this race that does when either side. and will keep this growth going. we've had 71 consecutive months of job growth since the auto rescue. unfortunately governor kasich hasn't kept that up particularly well in our area. even though we were doing better five and six years ago. so there is a very understandable frustration among everybody in the mahoning valley and everybody in ohio and across the country. >> and in that area i believe unemployment is close to 9%. so for people in your state of ohio who think that the issues are jobs and trade, how can y

martin savidge with more what's your take? >> privacy, again.o often now in our society especially as open as we are is very key and in this trial it was certainly the case. erin andrews, 2008. she's in nashville to be the suppor sports caster. her stalker is able to get the room next door and videotapes her naked and later posts it on the internet. all of this was horrific invasion of her privacy. and the hotel says we were duped in this. and also, you know, what they are trying to say her career hasn't exactly done bald ovbad over there. and after the verdict she issued the statement i've been honored by all of the support from victims around the world. their outreach has helped me to stand up and hold those accountable for everyone's safety, security and privacy. what remains to be seen is how much of the money she'll actually get. michael barrett, who owes the most in all of this, 29 million. is said to be worth almost nothing. the hotel does have the money but they may appeal. back to you michaela. >> we'll wait to see what happens. >>> tim
