many had to the day off in honor of martin luther king. some went to the parade downtown, some took up the call to action to help others in our community and some just took advantage of the day to chill. fox5's les krifaton was up at the lee canyon resort where today plenty of people were enjoying the chill by skiing and snowboarding. there were plenty of people who took advantage of the day to get out onto the slopes and have a little family or me time in the snow. the traffic getting up there didn't seem to discourage many people we've already had more snow than all of last season and that alone was enough to drive people by what looks like the thousands up to mount charleston on this holiday. through the traffic and it was busy throughout the day as you can see from this video it was time to have fun. beautiful day beautiful weather crowded but a lot of fun. for the ski resort operator these are the best of times because its been a while since all of their trails have been open.. there have been some trails that have finally opened this
