in martinez and more people throughout the bay area. we are at the post office at alhambra in martinez and you could see the parking lot is completely full. in fact, it is so busy we just saw two people get into an accident as they were trying to pull in. it is because of all of the mailbox thefts, people have to come here to the post office to go ahead and get their mail. take a look at this. we were inside of the post office this morning and everyone in there with the exception of maybe two people was there picking up their mail because their boxes at their apartments or their homes are broken. the post office tells me that yes, banks of big apartment and neighborhood boxes are broken because of a rash of mail thefts here in town and throughout the bay area. they say they are trying to solve the problem as they come up. but folks in line tell me, they've been without their mail service for anywhere from one week to two to three months. >> there is not enough parking to accommodate all of us that come to get our mail. and you can wait
