leigh martinez is in san jose. there were sideshows on the streets and some was caught on video. good morning, leigh. >>> reporter: that's right. law enforcement was ready. they didn't make many arrests or impound many cars. one was here at gish road and if you see this you can make out the tire tracks that are on the intersection. two law enforcement agencies and chp said they had intelligence about sideshow activity on halloween night. in the video you can see the cars are driving around surrounded by people at 1 am. the police put up a helicopter and the pilot reported to the officers on the ground where the groups were gathered and drives were maneuvering cars. later there was an accident at curtner under 87 and the vehicles were possibly involved in sideshow activity. the driver attempted to flee but was detained by sheriff's deputy's. they impounded two vehicles. they may two arrest. >> -- they made two arrests. >> another spectator was doing some erratic driving and we attempted to stop him and he came to a stop on the freeway and he was taken into custody and his car was
