we're headed for 62 in concord and martinez and 64 in santa rosa. and this weather days with a cold morning start and temperatures reaching into the low 60s. here's the rain that we've been talking about coming in on friday. it's not looking like a really significant storm system. it will bring us some scattered showers off and on as it moves through, but the north bay could see the highest rainfall totals. and there's the possibility that between friday and sunday we may see some of these areas shaded in red, picking up on about 1 to 2in of rainfall, and it may be much heavier farther to the north. but san jose, we're barely going to get anything here. maybe a few hundredths of an inch of rain. we'll be watching that as we go throughout the week, but looking at our 7-day forecast, we are mostly sunny in the forecast through thursday. and mike, you're still tracking a crash on the bay bridge. yeah, i'm watching some flashing lights. look at this shot here from emeryville folks. you can see, oh, just at the edge of the screen. so it's been slowly mov

hercules and martinez. weather through walnut creek and then throughout san francisco in the east bay. not much going on into the south bay either. temperatures are much warmer. 52 right now in sonoma, 53 in danville with 54 in san jose. and as we look outside, very light rain out there. so light to moderate rain this morning, it gets going through about 10:00. and then from about 1030 to at least 130, we're looking at soaking rain, windy conditions. we get a break for much of the bay area after about 3 or 4:00, except the north bay where it will still be raining, and then looking at sunday, some more scattered showers and a much colder system. that's what we need for the snowpack late monday into tuesday. a winter weather advisory now and high snow levels above 6500ft. so here's a look at 9:00. you'll notice still some light rain, the heaviest rain up to the north. and then it begins to shift to the south. so 11:00 you can see the pockets of yellow. it continues to push on through throughout the afternoon.
