martin. you are familiar with this area. >> when you get in oil spill it is usually from in oil tanker. this one came from a pipe that was broken and the oil leaked in from the beach. that in some ways is a little better because he won't have as much oil getting far out to the ocean. this is what we are talking about. it is 300 miles south of the bay area. if you have driven down highway 1 you know this area. it is right up in here, i can come in a little closer. it is. what we are seeing now are winds that are blowing out of the northwest. they are blowing something like this in this area. they are taking the oil and pressing it down towards town. the other thing we have -- i think we have some video. we do have reports now of a couple whales a couple whales in this area. this is the beach. you can see the oil on the beach. what you don't see is that water is black. that is a lot of oil on the beach. we were talking about it in the newsroom it is a good size oil spill. this will be a big deal. we will cover it tonight at 10:00. right now the oil spill is heading south down towards santa barbara. >>> the western conference finals get underway tonight in oakland. g
