and so the current temperatures, they are 40 in martinsburg, 49 in frederick and hagerstown. we are down to 41 in manassas and 41 out here. you can see the clear skies with the little snow shower pockets moving on through the northeast. and not moving through the metro d.c. area. as you head into friday. high pressure will build in from the south and the southerly high pressure will bring us a westerly wind. it's going to be very light, but enough to get the temperatures back up above average. and then by sunday, a coastal system approaches. this looks to bring us off and on rain on sunday. mostly clear to partly sunny skies with the lows between 21 and 30. so we will be cold, but not quite as cold adds we have been with the winds on out of the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. so on friday morning, partly sunny and chilly with the temperatures in the 20s and the 30s. and then in the afternoon, partly to mostly sunny with the high between 2 -- with a touch between 42 and 48 with the winds out of the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour. we're keeping the 9 weather alerts green u
