mary's county, and certainly dell morva has been the hardest hit. you have seen a lot of brown field. well, relief only spotty relief, that's it. here's live doppler 9,000. we'll zoom into a couple of storms. these storms we have been watching a while in southern maryland. they weakened a little bit. still some pretty good rain. but that's about it. they are drifting off to the east, very, very slowly. you might get beneficial rains. now off to the west and north of town. these are stronger, especially in fauquier county. just north of warrenton, around the plain states. this just popped up northwest of ashburn. where are these going to go in the next hour? they will drift very, very slowly back to the north and back to the west. actually toward the valley. but sometimes storms will drift off to the north and west in the middle of summer. there's not much current. so maybe a light shower in upperville. maybe a significant shower south of 66 down toward flint hill. that is about it. again, just kind of scattered relief. how much lightning do these storms have? not a bunch. more
