. >> i'm mary calvi. welcome to cbs 2 news this morning. we'll have traffic and weather on the 2s in a moment. >>> first, breaking news in howard beach. the body of what appears to be a 30-year-old woman has been found near a missing after going for a jog. her body was found about four hours later. cbs 2's janelle burrell joins us live from howard beach with more this morning. janelle. >>reporter: well, chris, right now detectives are here on scene trying to piece together what happened in the moments leading up to that woman's death. if you take a look behind me, you can see there is a police van in this grassy area here at 161st avenue and 78th street. that 30-year-old woman's family

i am mary calvi. >> and i am chris wragge. >>> police are looking for a shooter that left one person dead in jersey city, our top story. >> reporter: yes. our last update here has police on the scene now reopening the avenue. you can see where the investigation is focused that is the holy ghost tabernacle ministries. this church has a community center. it appears inside that hall last night is where those gunshots erupted around 11:30 p.m. we want to show you video of what the scene looked like earlier. we know so far three people were shot. one of those people, a man and teenaged girls were injured, heads. we have seen from the new jersey police and hudson county prosecutor's office in and out of the church collecting evidence, processing the scene inside. so far, though, the prosecutor's office has not released the name of the man killed. they haven't yet told us the condition of those two girls who were injured, but the prosecutor's office now the lead investigators on this case. again, one man killed and two teenagers injured in this gunfire overnight. jersey city, janelle burrel
