regarding some of issues we were discussing with our constituents and i want to give a shout out to mary kay in lake city and if you are still watching i have another issue for you to work on. that is with regard to -- a lot of my district is very rural. you know, i do have some of the coast but a lot of the people that live in the district live in the countryside. one of the issues they complain about with the choice program is there is long wait times, they are receiving complaints about long wait times for va appointments, referrals, payments, through the choice program and the payment and reimbursement process to the providers is difficult probably acerbated because it is rural. you know, obviously in that situation, smaller hospitals and clinics. and many of the providers that are technically participating in the choice program are refusing to accept choice patients because they know they will have to wait a long time to get paid themselves. so, some providers that don't accept the choice patients will only do so if the veteran agrees to pay were the services upfront and that leaves the
