just to protect incumbents like mary landreau, mc prior and taken. neil: that is the fear.e is what i don't give up pass on because i am discovering that would be a crucial means by which you would get coverage and pay for it. now i am hearing a lot of young people from this was intended, they are not signing up. low-wage workers cannot afford it. the ultimate, the uninsured for whom we appended this entire health care system of ours, they don't want in on it. so now i'm thinking, how the heck do we pay for this? >> well, that kid easily be the next leg. juneau's. further and further confusion. this employer mandate to me is much more simple to enforce and enact. prettytraightforward if you don't provide health insurance, -- minimal coverage health insurance. you pay the fine. but much more complicated and arcane is setting up the exchange. a spending in all of this stuff. and the fines of your peopl who after a 26, kicked out of their parents' basement, how in the world of they going to afford to pay these premiums? this is so disingenuous to say that it was the employers

i try to engage almost everyone i talked to about mary landreau, and no one wanted to talk politics of all. what are you hearing about those? >> part of the issue to my reference to my hometown. part of the reverence -- part of the problem is that nobody knows who bill cassidy is. you know, he is not known particularly in shreveport. and so i think that the race just has not really engaged at all. louisiana has not turned the corner and focused on the senate race. i think this is going to be a very, very, very big race that plan drew -- on one side of the equation she will be taking over the senate energy committee. dino, gathering a lot of influence in estate that has historically had a lot but of late has not had as much. on the other hand, senator landreau has been the beneficiary of having either really weak opponents or really, really good democrats. and so she has never had had a tough opponent in a tough year. and so that is going to really, really tester. and i think this is, i believe, the toughest opponent she has had. and at worst for republicans it will be a level playing f
