they've issued a warning into northeastern maryland. there's the snow and this is sort of the first punch of the snow. the main event is still going to be later tonight. this is what i call free snow kind of. we're looking at snow pushing to the south, still raining into southern maryland. that will eventually kick the snow later on. so snow and rain for the evening commute, temperatures generally above freezing now for the next few hours. that's good news for folks inside the beltway. it's going to get really slippery as we go through the night into the early morning hours and then tomorrow the headline won't be snow. it will be the slick roads and also the wind chills in the teens. step outside. just in the last hour or so we don't have anything really sticking, but just a little bit of slush and this is going to make it some kind of slick in the metro area. just wait for some flash freezing tonight. we'll come back and show you the snowfall accumulation in a bit. >>> tonight we already have one delay for tomorrow morning. stafford co
