maryland. right on the edge of the boundary we are not in the chilly air to the north. we are not yet into the really warm soupy air to the south. somewhere in between and that gets the focal point of the storm system to ride the rain in our direction. that's why we have heavy stuff. but with the storm passing to the north, we will get into that warmer air and that's why we expect a slow rampup of temperatures. currently at 50 in baltimore. many places west and north in the 40s. look at 30s to the north across new york and great lakes. and look at 60s across the deep south. that's a lot of fuel for the developing storm system. again, it will be feeding in our direction and while we are looking at the steadier rains around central southern maryland, south of the bay bridge and eastern shore where mark told me there are nats out there on the eastern shore. we will try to take care of that by next week. we are going to stream in warm air with the storm feeding in rain and the rain gets steadier and heavier and if this is your travel day, do it earlier because it's going to
