the maryland state police were out here on the scene investigating this fatal crash. right now they towed away part of that semi to take a closer look at it. but so far no charges have been filed and police say the investigation continues. >> and there was another crash on maryland highways last night but this one started as a police chase. police started tailing a vehicle near dorsey road and route 1. it ended when the suspects car was involved in another crash with at least another vehicle on i-95, near the future entrance to the i.c.c. in laurel. there's no word on exactly why police were chasing that car. new at noon, a man could spend 25 years behind bars after pleading guilty to you areson and aggravated assault. police arrested maurice dews in july on charges of setting fire to a vacant home. dew's later admitted to starting nine fires in d.c. and maryland. he was sentenced to 25 years for the d.c. crimes and 15 years for the maryland fires. the sentences will be served concurrently. you know perhaps they should move an m.m.a. style hexagon into the metro ride.
