it's right at the mason dixon line. and it was actually a weaker front out ahead of it.thing is on the move. there could be a couple more showers. what we're mainly going to wait for is the front to get to our south and some of the moisture to come up from the south. and after the front goes by, we're also going to see a change in the wind direction. an east wind will load up the clouds and load up the moisture and we won't be seeing 84 degrees. dulles a toasty 87. tomorrow's temperature closer to 77 degrees with a lot more clouds. maybe one or two sunny breaks. better chance for showers tomorrow afternoon. probably even a little bit more than we saw today. thursday 74. and that will also feature a pretty good chance of showers, light rain or drizzle. so not the prettiest day. better news on the five-day forecast. yesterday we thought friday might continue the pattern of more showers. now we think friday looks sunny. temperatures respond. we get up to 79 degrees much and saturday 75 degrees. and, do you know what, saturday is looking pretty good at this point too. we sti

showers north of the mason dixon line. inside the beltway, probably at or after the lunch hour we are at 61. quantico 56. our friends in fredericksburg 58. we will take you to 64 and not get much warmer than a high of 65 today. more clouds than sun and a few spotty rain showers thanks to upper-level energy that is pin wheeling around huge upper level low sitting on top of quebec. this thing is the center of the spokes of our wheel of energy and one of those spokes is coming down and that is generating clouds and a couple of showers. there it is. we mark it as a dash line called a trough in the atmosphere. it will cruise through with a chance of showers. after that we will have some high pressure build in for two days to bring us a return to sunshine by tomorrow. here's the time line. keep an eye on the cloudy weather throughout the day and tonight for a while. clouds will start to break up and we will improve the forecast as we head in to tomorrow. still cool, though. friday it is my pick of the workweek, 76. over the week
