northport and massapequa at 42, hauppauge 39, 33 east hampton. it's going to be a little cooler on south-facing shores. the reason being the wind is mostly out of the south and the park meters are showing a west wind. but they're generally out to lunch when it comes to winds as far as that because they're covered up by the trees and things in central park. so today we are going to be looking at that, a south to a southwest wind to at times a southeast wind. there are some showers back here in this line. right there is a warm front. they're kind of dying out as they come over the mountains. they'll probably die out even more as they get to jersey. so the futurecast this morning shows just clouds and even by 9:00 not even a sprinkle. but the temperatures warm up fast. we're going to be in the low 60s, mid-60s, upper 60s as we get to the afternoon, and then tomorrow morning we once again start out around 50, 51 degrees. it will be quite warm again. your accuweather forecast, sunny and warmer. 50s eastern long island. that's because of the southerly
