officer mathias, welcome. >> good evening. steve mathias from central station. i had a few incidents over the weekend. i will just kind of go into the major ones. there was a stabbing incident at 2:23 a.m. may 22. a large crowd and people fighting in the street near the condor club. police activated sirens to disperse the crowd. seven officers responded. within moments a victim came up and approached the officers that he had been stabbed. the officers checked him out and called the ambulance for him and saw that he had been stabbed three times. three-inch also a nation the left arm and a laceration in the and and a laceration in the upper left thigh. the victim was extremely uncooperative. he could not say what the person looked like and where he went. the person ended up going to hospital in the ambulance. the condor club assisted with allowing the officers look at their surveillance camera. there is a -- there is a small restaurant that is right there so it happened right in front of that. i have to say that the condor club was helpful. we're still trying to g

like officer mathias, permanent oiv in the north beach area. he's great, too, because they care about people and care about hearing what the concerns are. so a segue to that, i'm not going to go into the ramifications about the videos that public defender doshi presented. i'm a little alarmed by the talk show presentations that were made when he spoke there at two talk shows. i'm a little concerned, and i hope that chief sir will take this interest that if they are -- were poor behavior or violated the law, he would take swift action. i hope he would follow his word on that. at least explain his actions, at least. last but not least, they switched a lot of the taxi enforcement under the m.t.a., under deputy chief murphy. and he is not going forth trite let it publicly known what exactly was going on. they give the facts and figures to the staff at the m.t.a. and have them all sit down and figure out statistics. so i ask that lieutenant la carlo or sergeant that works with him, at least become more public. appear once every month or every other

i'm raj mathia. i'm jessica. we begin tonight with the very whacky weather that's gripping the bay area. there was a little bit of everything today. rain, hail, thunderstorms, and even the threat of tornadoes. we want to show you some video from northern california where a tornado did touch down in uba city. the video was taken by a viewer. luckily, no reports of any damage or injuries, but it is stunning to look at those pictures. let's bring in meteorologist jeffrey neary now. calling this weather unusual really an understatement for this time of year, but it's a little unnerve whenning we see those tornadoes. we don't expect that around here. >> the upper level pattern for this severe weather, the massarotation in the upper atmosphere. we had a couple of super cell thunderstorms developing from this cold trough of low pressure sitting across california. you can see right now on the radar, it stands around. not finding too much across the bay area. we're dry here from santa rosa to san jose. we're not in the cl
