"nbc 10's" matt delucia live for us in ocean city. matt, a lot of people are do you know the shore for the holiday. for others this is no vacation right? >> reporter: that's right, chris. a lot of work going on out here. we have some of the workers picking up some of the trash, cleaning up after all the crowds were out here last night. we are seeing more people out here on the boardwalk though. some people getting out their early run or some of the folks out here on the bikes. people are enjoying this lovely weather. of course i have been changing my shirt two to three times throughout the morning. now i have the polo shirt on because it's getting nicer as the morning goes. stores and restaurants that had closed up for the winter they're starting to reopen. the next three months, they are all important. for some it's their only income. friday their expectations were reasonably high. we did see big crowds. a lot of people outside on the boardwalk and beaches. the ocean still a little too cold for swimming at this point, but some brave s

nbc 10e's matt delucia is live in port richmond. matt, what can you tell us? >> reporter: tracy, as you mentioned, the last of the rail cars has been removed from the scene. now we're seeing more of an effort to get the tracks back up in working order. hindes me behind me you can see that effort. we're going to take a look at sky force 10 live over the area. more than 56 hours after this crash the ntsb says investigators are still looking at the trainee vent-- train event recorder. they're looking at the braking system and front facing camera installed on the train. there is good quality video leading up to the point of derailment when the train tilts to the right and the recording goes black. as of right now we are waiting for the engineer who has agreed to be interviewed by investigators in the next couple of days. >> our big priority is to continue to analyze the event data recorder. we want to be able to schedule interviews with people who are on that train. those types of things are what we want to do. eventually we'll do a break check. >> frankford avenu

"nbc 10's" matt delucia has covered the crash from the start. he's live again at the steen in port richmond. matt, what's happening there now? >> reporter: very similar to what we saw yesterday. a lot more has been learned and a lot more has been done. in the distance behind the philadelphia police car that there is still a lot of activity out there. you see the lights over there by the tracks where this derailment happened and they're trying to get those tracks back in working order so that service can resume. now the ntsb yesterday spent the day looking closer at the trainee vent recorder also looking at the breaking system. there is good quality video leading up to the point of derailment when the train tilts to the right and the train goes black. interviews of some of the passengers have been done. the engineer has agreed to be interviewed in the next couple of days. in the next half hour we'll have more on what investigators want to get from him. for now there are still plenty of questions. service is still suspended. the ntsb says there wer

"nbc 10's" matt delucia is live in south philadelphia with an update. what have you learned, matt? >> reporter: tracy, a few minutes ago detectives arrived on the scene to continue the investigation. get out of the way. you can see just down the street where the 100 block of rose wood street. right there is where the investigation has been underway for the better part of an hour at this point. we have some video from a little bit earlier when there was more activity from police at the scene. police tell us a man trying to open the door but was not able to get in. someone called 911 and officers responded before he could get in the home. no one was hurt but neighbors have been concerned over two sex assaults in this area. one happened just on sunday morning right here on the 1800 block of rosewood the same block. another case on the 1700 block of chadwick a few blocks away. that was back in march when a woman was sexually assaulted in her home. in those two cases the suspect reportedly wore red gloves. we have seen several police cars leave this area. again, no one injured here. the
